The Founder and Queen Beader of Team Beads Shop has always had a love for sports. It started with watching Saturday and Sunday football with her dad and she continues to watch every chance she gets. After having a daughter who played Division 1 golf for the University of Louisville, she wanted to find a way to express her support as a fan and a mom. Disappointed by the lack of sports related jewelry, she decided to start making her own. From there, Team Beads was born.
Environmentally Friendly
Recycled glass beads are a type of indigenously produced African bead from Ghana West Africa. These beautiful yellow recycled beads are made using an old method that has been used for centuries. The glass itself is derived from a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The procedure for making the beads consists of a number of steps whereby powdered glass is poured into molds of clay and baked in a specialized oven. These beads are produced with recycling glass are environmentally friendly.
